The Mutant Aurei are a collection of 888 unique coins, celebrating the life and legacy of Philosopher King @MutantAurelius. There are four variants of Aurei:
The Standard Aureus: held exclusively by those rich in both wisdom and spirit.
Small Council Badge: A token of esteem and high honor, held only for a short time and managed by the Philosopher King himself.
Aurei Memento: A token of remembrance given to those who once held a seat on the Small Council.
Azuki Aureus: An exceptionally rare variant honoring the artist herself.
Each coin is both a unique work of art and loyalty to the Mutant Aurelius Empire. In the future citizens of the Empire will use the Aurei to unlock the privileges of citizenship.

The standard Mutant Aureus, coin of the realm, held exclusively by those rich in both wisdom and spirit.
Each Aureus is a unique work of art, individually hand-minted and painstakingly de-funged using traditional Roman cryptography.
Bearing an Aureus demonstrates loyalty to the Empire and unlocks the privileges of citizenship.

Small Council Aureus
The holders of these coins sit on the small council of the philosopher king @MutantAurelius.
Small Council coins belong not to the holder, but to the office itself. They cannot be transferred or sold.
When their service to the Council is complete, the coin will move to their successor – until they are called to serve again.

Aurei Memento
Aurei Mementos are a token of remembrance given to those who once held office on the Small Council of @MutantAurelius.
Unlike the Small Council coins (which belong to the office itself) Aurei Mementos belong entirely to those who hold them and can be transferred or sold normally.
They are heirlooms of a legacy of high service and esteem.
